External calling to and from mobile and fixed line numbers with Microsoft Teams

A new tool for Microsoft Teams

Recently, we have been working on a new solution: remote calling to and from mobile and fixed line numbers with Microsoft Teams. What exactly does this solution entail? We share the details below.

Microsoft Teams became an even more important part of the (virtual) workplace during the pandemic. We underwent a digital transformation from physical appointments to online meetings, and Microsoft Teams was one of the go-to tools here. And it still is. This program allows you to quickly and easily call, chat, video call, share files, and watch on-screen with colleagues from wherever you are working. But wouldn't it be great if Microsoft Teams also allowed you to make calls to and from external numbers, for example to a supplier's or customer's mobile number?

With the new tool from Pegamento, you have the option to:

  • Use Microsoft Teams to make calls to external numbers
  • Receive calls from an external number, whereby the call is directed to your Teams client

How does it work?

We have developed a solution to enable you to make and receive calls. With this tool, you can both receive calls and call someone using Microsoft Teams, even if the other person is not linked to a Teams account.

In addition, there is no need to download the application on your phone or laptop. If one of these devices is linked to a Teams account, for example via an organisation, it is already possible to call external numbers and to receive calls.

This application is not only functional, but also cost-saving, which makes it super convenient for your organisation.
