Dozens of children of employees of the company Pegamento were surprised with their own paper payslip and ''salary''. It was a playful way of thanking the children for all the patience they have shown with their working parents. It was decided to reward all 30 children whose dad and/or mom works at the company with their own salaries.

People worked remotely for over a year. Rob Roode of Pegamento says: "In the last 12 months, dad/mom had to work at the kitchen table, fewer friends could come over to play at home, and the kids fetched coffee more often. In fact, they also worked a bit. A paycheck was no more than deserved." The reactions were very positive. Several handwritten thank you cards were received.
